This course will introduce you to the Adult Social Care sector and explore the roles and responsibilities of an Adult Social Care Worker. It will also focus on the skills and attitudes needed to work in Adult Social Care, and the values and principles that underpin working in this sector. This course would be suitable for individuals looking to progress into employment or further learning opportunities around health and social care.
The course is delivered over four linked sessions:
Session 1: Monday 24th – Wednesday 26th January 2022
Session 2: Monday 7th – Wednesday 9th February 2022
Session 3: Monday 14th – Wednesday 16th February 2022
Session 4: Monday 21st – Wednesday 23rd February 2022
You must be able to attend all four sessions.
No formal qualifications are required to apply for this course. However, we do recommend you access one of our introductory courses before you access this course if you don't have a level 1 qualification or if have been out of education for some time.
