This course will provide an introduction to Health, Social Care and Children and Young People’s Settings and will outline some of the similarities and differences between these settings for those considering a career in health and/or social care. You will gain information about the provision and roles within health and social care and the principles and values which underpin working in these sectors.
The course is delivered over 4 linked sessions:
Session 1: Monday 24th – Wednesday 26th January 2022
Session 2: Monday 7th – Wednesday 9th February 2022
Session 3: Monday 14th – Wednesday 16th February 2022
Session 4: Monday 21st – Wednesday 23rd February 2022
You must be able to attend all 4 sessions
No formal qualifications are required to apply for this course. However, we do recommend you access one of our introductory courses such as Exploring Mental Health Issues or Career Transitions: Working with Young People and Families before you access this course if you don't have a level 1 qualification or if have been out of education for some time.
