This course will encourage you to develop confidence in, and a positive attitude towards, mathematics and to recognise the importance of mathematics in your own life and in society.
How will this course be delivered?
This course will consist of 32 sessions and be delivered onsite.
As part of the application process, you will be required to complete a maths assessment. This will ensure we offer you the right level of course, helping you to achieve. If you already have a Grade 3 (D) you will automatically be able to access a place on this course; do make sure that you mention this on your application.
What could this course lead to?
GCSE qualifications are often a requirement to join study programmes at level 3, or for access to Higher Education.
Funding Support Statement:
Functional skills and GCSE qualifications in English and Maths are free to anyone who doesn’t already have either a grade 4, or a Level 2, in the specific subject. This means, if you’re aged 19 or over, the government will fund your English and Maths studies until you achieve either of these grades whether you are in work or not.Need more Information?
