Level 3 Applied General Certificate in Business and Enterprise

The qualification enables you to develop your skills, knowledge and understanding in the business and enterprise sector.
The course focus's on an applied study of the business and enterprise sector using real working business and enterpise examples to study.
This course can lead to studying Business at a higher level and provides academic and study skills that will support progression.
The course is equivalent in size to an A level and can be studied alongside Level 2 Maths and English if the student does not already have these qualifications.
You can also study for the new Essential Digital Skills qualification too. Our students can apply for this course and access their level 2 Maths and English and Digital skills before the course starts using our flexible delivery options.
This qualification has UCAS points as follows:
- Distinction*: 56
- Distinction: 48
- Merit: 32
- Pass: 16
In order to access this qualification we would expect to see level 2 Maths and English qualifications grades C or 4 and above either already achieved or to be studied as part of your study plan for the year.
If you already have level 2 qualifications we will need to see your certificates. If you do not but have been assessed as being at an appropriate level to achieve level 2 in the required time you will be accepted on the course on the basis that they are studied (they are free if you don't already hold them!)
Essential Digital Skills is free to everyone.
This course is free to all eligible students aged 19 or over who have not previously gained a full level 3 qualification. We will assess if you are eligible when you apply.
If you already possess a level 3 qualification, you may consider covering the cost by applying for an Advanced Learner Loan (ALL) or arrange a payment plan with the college.
