This course follows on from ‘Introduction to Criminology’ and will focus on why criminals cease to commit crime by exploring the different methods of rehabilitation.
How will the course be delivered?
The course will be delivered on a residential basis, over two days and one night.The course will include a blend of classroom based activities and some individual work alone.
Northern College starts where you are, building on your life skills and experience. You don’t need a formal qualification to begin your studies with us.However, if this is your first course at Northern College, you will be contacted by our Student Services team to ensure the course is right for you.
What could this course lead to?
This course will help anyone who is looking to progress onto other Social Science or Healthcare courses. For example, you can continue to study to achieve Level 1 and Level 2 Award in Social Science and progress onto higher level study. This includes the Access to Higher Education Humanities and Social Science, Healthcare Professions or Policing qualifications.

You may be eligible to study for free if you are unemployed, on certain benefits, or earn £17,004 a year or less. We can confirm when you apply or contact our Student Support Services team to learn more.
