This Award will develop your understanding and knowledge of counselling theories by looking at the different approaches to counselling.
It will explore mental health issues and the management and treatment of mental health issues.
The course will also look at the importance of health promotion in a care setting as a way of encouraging healthy lifestyles and attitudes.
How will the course be delivered?
The course will be delivered on a residential basis, on campus.The course will include a blend of classroom based activities and some individual work alone.
