This course has been designed to help people working in an advisory role to help others to access education or training to enhance their lives.
You’ll gain an understanding of the role of an education volunteer and how to identify people’s issues and get them involved in education and training.

How will the course be delivered?
The course will be delivered on a residential basis, over two days and one night. The course will include a blend of classroom based activities and some individual work alone.
Northern College starts where you are, building on your life skills and experience. You don’t need a formal qualification to begin your studies with us.
What could this course lead to?
To continue your journey, you may wish to study other teacher education courses.These include Introduction to Teaching and Supporting learning, Level 2 Award in Learning Support practices or the Level 3 Award in Education and Training.
