This qualification will help you to both build on your existing knowledge and skills of community organising, and demonstrate them to prospective employers.
On the course, you will explore the purposes and principles of community organising and what processes make good community practice.
How will the course be delivered?
The course will be delivered on a residential basis, on campus. The course will include a blend of classroom based activities and some individual work alone.
Northern College starts where you are, building on your life skills and experience. You don’t need a formal qualification to begin your studies with us.
What could this course lead to?
This course can help you to plan and begin your own social enterprise or community organisation. You can also continue your journey by progressing onto the Level 3 Diploma in Management Skills and Knowledge.
