This one day introductory course looks at aspiring female leaders from the past and present and how female leaders for the future are empowered and encouraged into leadership roles.
You’ll learn about the barriers and opportunities women face in the 21st Century when aspiring to roles of leadership and how to identify personal development areas for your own leadership development.
There will also be discussion on developing empowering, inclusive language of leadership, styles of leadership and goal setting.
How will the course be delivered?
The course will be delivered on campus, over one day.
Northern College starts where you are, building on your life skills and experience. You don’t need a formal qualification to begin your studies with us.
What could this course lead to?
To continue your journey, you may wish to study other community development courses, such as; Level 1 Award in investigating Enterprise Skills or the Level 3 Diploma in Management Skills and Knowledge.
Funding Support Statement:
You may be eligible to study for free if you are unemployed, on certain benefits, or earn £17,004 a year or less. We can confirm when you apply or contact our Student Support Services team to learn more.

Please note the fee displayed is for the tuition fee only. If you are staying overnight at the college and you are not eligible for residential funding, there will be an additional charge to cover bed, breakfast and evening meal.
