On this course you will find out what counselling means and explore the six core conditions of counselling. You’ll learn why setting boundaries and the need for confidentiality are important as well as gaining new skills in active listening and how to use open questions.
This course is beneficial for those who are hoping to work in counselling.
How will the course be delivered?
The course will be delivered on a residential basis, over two days and one night.The course will include a blend of class room based activities and some individual work alone.
Northern College starts where you are, building on your life skills and experience. You don’t need a formal qualification to begin your studies with us.However, if this is your first course at Northern College, you will be contacted by our Student Services team to ensure the course is right for you.
